The Grounds
The properties on the estate stand in 7 acres of gardens and mahogany forest and is approached by a long drive of shady trees. Visitors often remark that its Georgian architecture reminds them more of an English country home than a plantation house in the tropics.
The Great House itself is 10,660 sq. ft, while the 2 bedroom cottage is 1,974 square feet, and the renovated stables 2,190 square feet.
The Great House grounds benefit from a stunning pool accessible to all of our guests, along with breathtaking views of the Barbados West Coast coastline.
You’ll also no doubt see a family of monkeys whilst enjoying your stay at Colleton Great House.
This family of monkeys are regularly in the gardens playing, which make for an exciting sight to behold whilst having your breakfast in the sun.
